Ken McFeeters (maybe should stick to his McFeeters from now on) had a little mishap with a dirt bike. Okay, you see, he’s a guy who ran for the U.S. House and I guess lost, and I don’t care enough to look up whatever the hell else he has done, but he is currently running for governor of Alabama in the Republican primary against Senator Tommy Tuberville (R-Stupidest Senator Who Has Ever Lived).
Anyways, he decided to try a stunt where he would do a sweet jump (wheelie) with his dirt bike and call out Tuberville for maybe/probably/provably not living in the state. Except, oops.
He fell and went to the hospital. Yay health care.
And yet, some details are just too much to ignore. If you’re wondering just how Alabama this story is, well, I have to note that he for some fucking reason brought his gun to the hospital.
The campaign also claimed McFeeters was temporarily turned away from the emergency room after being “asked to return to his truck to stow his North American Arms .22 Magnum pocket pistol and Benchmade knife” before entering the building.
And, sure, we’ve all been there. And I have to admit, for the next part, that I have actually been there, no joke. Because of course YouTube strikes another man trying to figure out how to do something around the house, or I guess, something around the dirt bike track.
According to McFeeters, although he’s loved motorcycles since an early age and still rides his 125 Honda Monkey and 150 Honda Adventure Scooter, he hadn’t attempted a wheelie since his teenage years.
However, after watching a YouTube tutorial on how to pull the stunt, he said he felt confident enough to attempt it to call out Tuberville.
Anyways, I hope Tuberville loses, but I also hope McFeeters uses his feet from now on. I’m sure he’s also terrible, but I hope he heals from his wounds soon and can get back out there doing whatever he does for a living.
