Who supports whom
Map of London colored by what team the majority supports:
This is an attempt to show London football supporters on a map. It’s a working progress and with feedback is going to change a lot. The map shoud show traditionall supporters and no glory hunters.
Handy for those of us with little functional geographic knowledge of London while hearing about cross-town rivalries. Well, if you’re a supporter of a London-based club that is (ahem, GhostofHemingway’sGun).

The Londoners around me have made certain that I understand most of the borders and disputes. One friend is from the area that’s striped orange and red to suggest a split between Barnet and A*****l, but is a Spurs supporter with a soft spot for the local League 2 outfit. Another should, by geography, be a supporter of Dag & Red. Of course, both of their fathers come from areas firmly within the blue (Hr, to be exact) of Spurs, and team loyalty often has as much to do with legacy as it does geography.
That said, I’m intrigued by the enclaves of Spurs and West Ham support amidst the sea of A*****l red (northeast of the Ba), and how that gets along. Also, I’m astonished that Chelsea would have such wide-ranging support on both sides of the river, if this is actually a map of “historical support”, especially at the expense of QPR, Millwall and Crystal Palace. If it weren’t busy at work, I’d have much more to say. Might stop by again later.
